Fellow female founder in women's health - I started out 9 years ago, and sadly, almost nothing's changed except that we have more women's health start-ups but little funding.
That is a very interesting insight - I am wondering if we should not look at smaller steps such as adding more data on studies where both men and women are present but add some specific endpoints for women… (which phase of their cycle for example) which go beyond merely age/weight. This being a requirement for all studies would add an enormous amount of data for women
Love this! I’m Harrison, an ex fine dining industry line cook. My stack "The Secret Ingredient" adapts hit restaurant recipes (mostly NYC and L.A.) for easy home cooking.
I just launched this newsletter. I'll share how to develop a romantic relationship for single women 30+, confidence while being single at that age, self worth and more. But also romantic stories.
Well said. Subscribed! I myself feel underrepresented especially in the research arena, having PCOS and not knowing what medications or methods work to heal me.
This is so important to talk about. But also what can we do to change it? How can we support these business who have the great ideas and want to change women’s health outcomes? I’d love to do more (although admittedly can’t sign up as a user to all of them!)
Love it - I've been wondering how gender differences may be influencing this investment gap. Is the majority male personality of VCs just misaligned with the business and investment style of majority female founders of women's health companies? What if it's just not a good match?
Either way, the highlight of how women are taking health into our own hands is so real. I envision the movement will be community based - beyond just tech platforms advocating supplements and generating a parallel health system.

How did you get the picture to move like this?
It was already a gif :) I’m not that tech savvy don’t worry!
